Royal Viking Sky, was the second of the famous trio built at Wärtsilä shipyard in Helsinki for the erstwhile Royal Viking Line. Royal Viking Sky had a varied career before being reunited with her sister Black Watch when joining the Fred Olsen Cruises fleet as Boudicca. A sumary of her service life and some photos are is available at Simplon postcards.
Like her two sisters Boudicca was stretched at the Lloyd Werft in Bremerhaven by adding a section built at SSW Schichau Seebeck Shipyard. 2006 all three ships underwent another major refit at Blohm+Voss where beside other modifications the complete propulsion system was replaced; 2018 all of Boudicca's cabins were stripped out and rejuvenated during a more extensive refurbishement. Royal Viking Sky was beached at Aliağa in May 2021 - link to video of beaching @ Cruise & Harbour News.
